Especially because it's getting darker and darker. In the end we were stuck at a gas station right before the border, because of the lack of light, with 1 Canadian car an hour. Better find some hosts on the way and do e.g. 2,5 hours a day. If you hit the road early you'll be fine. Hitching in Quebec is great though, so once you cross the border (during daylight) you're fine. Today we hitched from Montreal to Boston in one day, but... don't count on it. It's probably better when you're hitching with a girl. NY state is quite bad for hitching. Take the 15$ Chinatown bus from NY to Boston! Also, check Hitchwiki! :) Anu, I did the design on my own, mostly! Just some minor consulting of amylin, but well, she did make all the pictures of course :) And, it's almost certain that I'm meeting John tomorrow!
