Kasper Souren (aka Guaka) was born somewhere in the Netherlands and lived in Paris, in Mali (working for Geekcorps), in Peru (working for CEPES), in New Zealand (working for CouchSurfing) and in 2007 in Italy, researching trust metrics and as of 2008 working for the biggest Dutch social network in Amsterdam. He studied mathematics, in which he holds an MSc, cognitive science, electronic music and artificial intelligence and is a hobby linguist.
He fluently speaks Dutch, English, French, German, Limburgish, Spanish and Italian. He is administrator of the Wikipedias in Limburgish, Bambara, Fulfulde, and Wolof, hitchwiki.org, and many more wikis.
His favorite programming language is Python.
In August 2006, in Montreal he met amylin, a truly lovely and amazing creature with whom he has traveled around the world, mostly by thumb, until September 2007.
